Apple Celebrates 2024 App Store Award Winners
Apple has announced the winners of the 2024 App Store Awards, recognizing 17 exceptional apps and games that have made a significant impact on users’ lives and culture globally. These awards honor apps that have inspired creativity, helped achieve new goals, and enhanced daily experiences with family and friends.
CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA — Today, Apple unveiled the winners of the 2024 App Store Awards, celebrating 17 outstanding apps and games. These winners have been selected for their ability to spark creativity, help users reach new heights, and enhance everyday moments with loved ones. From individual developers to global teams, these apps have been chosen from 45 finalists by App Store Editors for their excellence in user experience, design, and innovation.

The winning apps and games demonstrate the vast possibilities within the App Store and the Apple ecosystem. For example, Kino offers film-inspired filters and advanced controls for cinematic experiences, Moises provides musicians on iPad with powerful AI tools, and Lightroom on Mac offers transformative photo editing. Lumy on Apple Watch helps users enjoy the sun’s patterns, while F1 TV delivers immersive race experiences for fans at home.
In gaming, AFK Journey provides action-packed adventures on iPhone, Squad Busters offers fun multiplayer gameplay on iPad, and Thank Goodness You’re Here! delivers laughs with its quirky skits on Mac. On Apple Arcade, Balatro+ reinvents card games with innovative rules.
The first winners of the Apple Vision Pro category are setting new standards in spatial computing with immersive experiences. “What If…? An Immersive Story” immerses users in the Marvel Universe, and “THRASHER: Arcade Odyssey” transports players to vibrant cosmic worlds.

Oko from AYES BV enhances navigation for users who are blind or have low vision. EF Hello from Signum International AG uses AI to support language learners of all levels. DailyArt by Zuzanna Stanska connects users to exceptional historical artwork. NYT Games from The New York Times Company offers enjoyable daily games for all ages. The Wreck from The Pixel Hunt explores internal struggles during crises. Do You Really Want to Know 2 from Gamtropy Co., Ltd. provides resources and education about living with HIV.
