Former producer Toby Yoshimura admits in the trailer that no one knew how crazy the show would become. The program started as a daytime talk show but quickly transformed into a wild spectacle to boost ratings.
From onstage brawls to shocking reveals, the show became known as a modern version of the Roman Colosseum. Springer, dubbed the “King of trash TV,” aimed to showcase outrageousness to captivate viewers.
