The Health Check service conducts a thorough analysis and diagnosis of SAS environments (SAS 9.x, Viya 3.5, and Viya 202x.x), including their infrastructure and software configurations. The goal is to ensure that the SAS environment operates based on these fundamental principles:

Who is it for?
It’s aimed at clients who already have a SAS platform but find its performance subpar or those without proper maintenance services who wish to maximize their platform’s potential.
How do we do it?
Our team of certified SAS administration and deployment experts analyze memory and CPU usage, identify bottlenecks affecting overall system performance, and measure data file system throughput and temporary library WORK file systems. We also evaluate database queries that might be inefficient. After analyzing all the data, we provide a final report with improvement proposals for the environment.
For SAS Viya deployments, we suggest changes in the configuration parameters of the main and most active pods. Depending on the number of users, workload, and concurrency, additional parameters may be added.
