The Lexus GX received a major redesign last year, so the 2025 model doesn’t feature significant changes. However, if you’re an off-road enthusiast, you’ll be pleased to know that the off-road oriented GX Overtrail and Overtrail+ models now come with a one-inch suspension lift.
Besides this, the 2025 GX remains largely unchanged except for a few enhancements like the standard Lexus Memory System and a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column.
Under the hood, the GX boasts a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine, delivering 349 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. While Lexus has announced plans for a hybrid version of the GX, there have been no additional updates regarding its release. The GX can tow up to 9,063 lbs. for the Premium, Premium+, and Overtrail+ trims, and up to 9,096 lbs. for the Overtrail trim with the standard tow hitch receiver.
The starting price for the 2025 Lexus GX is $66,635, which includes the destination fee.
