December is here, and as 2024 draws to a close, some of the year’s most anticipated games are being released just in time for the winter season. My console’s SSDs are already full from all the downloads. How will I manage to fit another 350GB worth of games?
December 2024 is notable for its free-to-play games and titles available with Game Pass. “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” is the major holiday release accessible to everyone with a paid Game Pass Ultimate or PC subscription. However, fans eager to play it early will need to purchase the deluxe edition.
Meanwhile, “Marvel Rivals” is making another attempt at the hero shooter genre, while “Infinity Nikki” is bringing the cozy sim dress-up RPG series to an open world. Both games rely on microtransactions instead of upfront costs. Half of my Xbox Series S storage is already filled with “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2,” and “Star Wars Outlaws,” “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth,” and “Metaphor Refantazio” are taking up space on my PlayStation 5. I hope Santa brings me a memory expansion card this year.
