As we near the end of 2024, Ragnarok X Next Generation (ROX) is wrapping up the year with a Merry Christmas Snow Festive Night Event. This final event of the year is similar to last year’s holiday event but introduces exciting new rewards, costumes, and exclusive items for adventurers.
The 14-day event kicks off today and will run until January 2, 2024, ending at 5 AM (essentially concluding on January 1, 2024). During this festive period, players can complete daily quests, join in festive activities, and collect rare items like special mounts and costumes.
Here’s a guide for the event.

- Go to the Lutie map.
- Find NPC Santa.
- Accept the Winter Sign-In quest daily.
Collect your daily and event-long rewards by logging in every day. These items can be exchanged or used to trade for event items!
Event 2: Epic Journey
The second part of the Holy Night Christmas Event is the Epic Journey, featuring six different tasks similar to last year’s objectives, like collecting fireworks, mining minerals, and defeating specific monsters. While these tasks may seem like chores, completing them earns you valuable rewards.
How to Participate
- Check the Event Schedule for the current task.
- Complete up to 5 objectives per day for maximum rewards.
- Track your progress through the event interface.
By finishing 5 objectives each day, you can earn a maximum of 70 Sweet Winter Dream Boxes and 42 Witch’s Staffs throughout the 14-day event period. The tasks will rotate based on the event schedule. Here’s a guide to the six available tasks and tips for completing them efficiently.
Event 3: Game Invasion Incident (Daily Quests)
The Game Invasion Incident returns for this year’s Holy Night Christmas Event, now scheduled for a single time slot from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Manila Time) each evening.
How to Participate
- During the event window, join the Garm Boss Instance.
- Deal as much damage as possible while minimizing your death count.
- Higher damage and fewer deaths result in better rewards!
Event Window
- Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Manila Time)
- Duration: Daily throughout the 14-day event period
Realistic Goals and Strategy
Attaining an SSS rating is exceptionally challenging unless you or your party members are heavily geared or high-level players, commonly known as “whales” or “semi-whales.” For most players, reaching an S or SS rating is a practical and rewarding goal.
Tips to Maintain Your Rating
- Avoid Dying: Deaths significantly impact your rating. Focus on staying alive by evading Garm’s attacks and using defensive skills.
- Survive Until the Timer Ends: Prioritize survival over damage if necessary. Sometimes, staying alive longer yields a better rating than dealing more damage.
- Use Healing and Buffs: Stock up on potions and buffs to boost survivability during the fight.
- Positioning: Stay aware of Garm’s attack patterns and maintain safe positioning throughout the battle.
If you can consistently achieve an S or SS rating, you’re already securing a solid reward outcome. Keep your focus on survival, and you’ll make the most of this event.
Event 4: Odin Burn
The Odin Burn event allows you to get event materials by burning Odin. The limit might be the same as last year. Here’s the data from last year:
Materials | Limit per day |
---|---|
Holly Leaf | 10 |
Event 6: Christmas Splendor
This event involves a kind of gacha box, where spending at least PHP 569 gives you a slim chance of getting the costume or PHP 1,490 for a slim chance of getting the mount.
Event 7: Exchange Shop
Here are the items you can exchange:
