The first officer to arrive discovered a vehicle on fire near a funeral home, along with several gunshot victims. The circumstances leading up to the crash and shooting are still under investigation. The identity of the deceased person and the conditions of the injured individuals have not been disclosed.
Authorities believe this was an isolated and targeted incident, with no ongoing threat to the community. The motive behind the incident remains unclear, and it is unknown if any suspects have been apprehended. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, along with the Baltimore County Fire Department, are assisting in the investigation.
